A few days ago, the 2021 Sino-Thai cooperation "1+X" e-commerce vocational skill level certificate training was successfully held. 80 outstanding students from 28 colleges and universities in Thailand who have been screened for training have initially mastered the training after four days of training and learning. "Cloud" trains Thai e-commerce talents


A few days ago, the Sino-Thai cooperation "1+X E-commerce" vocational skill level certificate training started in the "cloud". After screening, 80 outstanding students from 28 vocational colleges in Thailand stood out from more than 980 applicants and entered the training class. They systematically learned about China's e-commerce ecology and development status, new e-commerce models, and Sino-Thai cross-border e-commerce. business development experience, etc.



The training was jointly held by the Vocational Education Commission of Thailand, the National E-Commerce Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee of China, the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, and Beijing Ph.D. Future Information Technology Co., Ltd. The training started on July 24 and lasted for 4 days. The teaching team adopted a combination of Chinese education and vocational skills training. Through a large number of case analysis, teaching interaction and platform practice, it led students to "unlock" the initial stage of e-commerce one by one. The key skills, including macro-e-commerce ecological cognition, innovation and entrepreneurship roadshow skills, short video production, image processing, product detail page copywriting, store decoration, etc.



In order to let the students really benefit, the course team specially designed the "1+X project-based learning" model, and divided the students into project-based classes according to the four main categories of food, health, cosmetics, and tourism under the "Thailand 4.0" development strategy. , and invited 8 teaching assistants with Chinese and Thai bilingual ability and life experience in both countries to help lead the project team.



This training aroused the inner drive of the trainees to start an e-commerce business. According to the survey, 81% of the trainees intend to try e-commerce business after the project. Tana, a student of Chiang Mai University, has benefited a lot from this training: "In addition to learning knowledge, we have also developed ideas, improved our way of thinking, and exercised our teamwork skills!"



Suthep Geng Shanti, Secretary General of the Vocational Education Commission of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, said that e-commerce has brought a huge impact on people's life and work, and the e-commerce project combining Chinese education and vocational skills training is very in line with the current social development situation. It will help participating students to improve their personal skills.



This training is part of a long-term educational assistance program of the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University. The plan aims to explore and build a "Chinese + E-commerce" high-quality training course and teaching and examination platform suitable for Thai localization, and embed the concept of practical education into the whole process of the project. Shen Yi, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University, said that in the future, he will further integrate various resources and continue to promote the combination of Chinese education and vocational skills training to help Thailand cultivate more interdisciplinary talents who both understand Chinese and have comprehensive e-commerce skills.
