China-Philippines Life Service Industry Talent Training Video Seminar Successfully Held

Recently, the China-Philippines life service industry talent training video seminar was held online. The conference was sponsored by the National E-Commerce Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "National E-commerce Bank Steering Committee"), the Philippine Higher Education Commission and the Philippine-China Education and Technology Promotion Association. The National E-Commerce Bank Steering Committee is responsible for guiding and serving the development of teaching standards for related majors in the fields of e-commerce and home economics. Lu Chunyang, executive deputy director of the National E-Commerce Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee and chairman of the "One Belt, One Road" E-commerce Valley Project Development Council, pointed out in his speech that digital skills are a necessary skill upgrade for the workforce to adapt to the fourth industrial revolution, and will also become a One of the core skills of modern service industry talents should start to accelerate the pace of cooperation in digital skills development. In September this year, the National E-Commerce Bank Steering Committee signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Philippines-China Education and Technology Promotion Association, which kicked off the in-depth cooperation between China and the Philippines. Holding this meeting is the basis for the two countries to reach consensus and in-depth cooperation in the training of talents in the modern service industry, the development and cooperation of digital skills. He suggested that the China-Philippines Modern Service Industry Talent Training Seminar should be built into a regular exchange platform, to facilitate the implementation of exemplary China-Philippines inter-school cooperation projects as soon as possible, and to speed up the development of digital skills standards and learning resources with the e-commerce valley project as a carrier.





Abilia Bigler, Director of the Fourth Region of the Philippine Department of Higher Education, said that as early as October 2019, the Philippine Higher Education Commission organized institutions such as the National University of Batangas to visit the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education and some Chinese universities. Strategic cooperation opportunities that can be established by Chinese and Philippine universities and institutions were discussed. It is hoped that through the convening of this meeting, the work in 2019 will be further promoted, and a wider cooperation project will be established between the universities of the two countries, especially to explore more cooperation opportunities in the field of service industry.





Zhang Hongyang, Dean of the China-Philippines Silk Road Institute and President of the Philippines-China Education and Technology Promotion Association, said that the China-Philippines Silk Road Institute and the Philippines-China Education and Technology Promotion Association are committed to building an exchange platform for the two countries in the field of education and science and technology, and for the development of China-Philippines. Institutions and enterprises provide a wider range of communication channels, explore a more in-depth mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation mechanism for the industrial development of both sides, and weave a stronger emotional bond for the inheritance of the friendship between the two peoples. Wang Shuxia, president of the China Family Service Industry Association, pointed out that the market size of China's domestic service industry has grown by more than 20% for 10 consecutive years, making it the industry with the highest employment growth rate in the tertiary industry, but there is still a gap of 20 million employees. At present, the domestic working mechanism for promoting the quality and expansion of the domestic service industry has been gradually established. The transformation of the consumption structure has led to an increase in the demand for the domestic service industry. The traditional domestic service industry is combined with high and new technology, and it is transforming into a new type of domestic service industry, home service and community service. The business forms are integrated, and the rapid development is driven by the intervention of capital. China's domestic service industry has broad prospects for development, but it still needs continuous injection of people, logistics, capital, information, and data flow, so that it can continue to be supported by endogenous power and external forces to jointly promote the healthy growth of the domestic service industry.





Luis Banua, Regional Director of the Fourth Region of the Philippine National Economic Development Authority, introduced the industrial status and future development goals of Calabarzon, the fourth region as the economic driving force and industrial center of the Philippines. He said that the fourth region will further open up cooperation, strengthen ties with partners, strengthen the integration of production and education, provide more support in the cultivation of talents and skills in e-commerce, digital economy and other fields, and promote the integration of academic and industry. Coordinated development.






Changsha Civil Affairs Vocational and Technical College, Zhejiang Shuren College and Ningbo Health Vocational and Technical College, respectively, from the three perspectives of the professional construction of vocational education in China's domestic service industry, deepening the integration of production and education, and the Ningbo practice of high-quality training of domestic and domestic service talents. Philippine institutions such as Yongzhu University, Lassim University of the Philippines, De La Salle University and other Philippine institutions respectively introduced the service industry talent training programs that their schools have cooperated with China to carry out. Batangas National University The university focused on sharing the construction achievements of the first Silk Road Academy in the Philippines, and the unique talent training cooperation projects of 22 colleges and universities in the fourth district of the Philippines were also displayed at the meeting. The meeting also invited Wang Rongrong, China's first domestic helper "technical expert" and a gold medalist in the domestic service project of China National Skills Competition, to share professional experience.





At the meeting, the Philippine-China Education and Technology Promotion Association released the Philippine-China Life Service Industry Talent Training International Cooperation Project. The project will focus on talent training, China-Philippines exchanges as the link, and resource sharing as the support, to cooperate in the implementation of life service industry curriculum development, certification training, resource construction, etc. A series of projects such as the research on the development of talents in the life service industry, the international education forum for the life service industry and the international achievement exhibition of vocational education, and talent exchanges have formed a new path for the development of talents in the life service industry between China and the Philippines.
